Integration Solutions Sales Engineer / Architect
Cicero, Inc., a publicly traded technology company specializing in desktop integration software, is seeking an Integration Solution Sales Engineer. This position will provide sales support, technical expertise, project management and implementation support to prospects and customers during the pre and post sales phase of their development.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Determine how Cicero fits into the customer's architecture and address their business requirements.
- Evaluate the prospect’s business and workflow processes and identify areas for improved productivity using Cicero.
- Manage relations between Integration Specialists, operational personnel and management within prospect account.
- Provide assistance to prospects with integration, training, support, and deployment of the integrated solution.
- Demonstrate Cicero’s capabilities to prospects and contribute technical expertise on RFPs and other proposals.
- Provide feedback on product features and priorities to product management.
- Build integrations using Cicero technology for product demonstrations, POCs, and other events.
- Troubleshoot and track issues during the project life cycle.
- Prepare pre and post sales documentation.
- Minimum 4 years technical experience working independently with customer environments, including Contact Centers.
- Understanding of call center software, IT environment, and business is required.
- Minimum 2 years pre- and post-sales experience including requirements gathering and project management.
- Thorough knowledge and use of .NET 2.0 (or later) in an enterprise environment is required.
- Java experience is preferred.
- Ability to lead small teams of technical personnel.
- Experience working with best practices in call centers, business process management, and call center metrics is preferred.
- Expertise with architecting, designing, developing and deploying call center software solutions.
- Accountability and a strong customer service ethos are essential prerequisites for this critical role. An ability to achieve results while operating independently with minimal guidance is a must.
- Travel will be required depending on prospect activity.
- Ability to connect use of a technology to customer economic benefit.
- Excellent written and oral communications with strong presentation skills.
- A bachelor's degree is required. A degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
- Starting at $90K and is commensurate on experience.
- Bonuses and incentives may be considered at this level and are not included in the salary. In addition, participant would be eligible for Company Stock options.
